— It was announced during Raw that Divas Champion Melina will face one half of the self-proclaimed “Co-Women’s Champions,” Team Lay-Cool, at Night of Champions in a match that will unify the Women’s and Divas titles.

Additionally, every active WWE Diva on the roster will be at ringside as lumberjacks to insure that it is a fair fight.

— Two matches were taped for this week’s episode of WWE Superstars prior to tonight’s live Raw broadcast: Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) vs. Goldust and Santino Marella vs. Jimmy Uso (with Tamina and Jey Uso).

— Among those sitting at ringside for tonight’s Raw is John Cena’s father, John Cena, Sr., and his cousin, rapper Trademarc.
