— @ArielHelwani was at Friday’s UFC 141 press conference and interviewed heavyweight fighter Alistair Overeem about his upcoming fight with Brock Lesnar on Dec. 30.

Overeem was asked about comments he made earlier in the week about kicking Brock Lesnar’s ass so bad he left MMA. He laughed and said:

“I think I said something more along the lines of ‘I’m going to send Brock back to WWE’“

“It’s going to be a great fight. Brock is a very strong guy, but I believe I’m the #1 (heavyweight in the division) and I’m going to hit him as hard as I can and kick his ass and knock him out.”

— Former WWE and TNA star Bobby Lashley captured his first title in MMA on Friday night from Lubbock, Texas.

Bobby Lashley defeated Karl Knothe via submission in the first round of the Shark Fights 21 main event to become the Shark Fights Heavyweight champion.
