– WWE RAW General Manager AJ Lee tweeted the following about new Saturday morning TV show and referencing a Pokemon character:

“August 25: ‘WWE Saturday Morning Slam’ premieres at 10 am on @MyVortexx on the @CW_Net. This may finally be my chance to meet Ash Ketchum.”

– The Rock noted on Twitter that he “Spent time w/ some of our US Olympic Gold medalists last night” and that he’s “So proud of them.” Rock is in London to film scenes for his new Fast 6 movie.

– Following the release of WWE developmental diva and former Tough Enough competitor Sofia Cortez (real name Ivelisse Vélez), f4wonline.com is reporting that Cortez received rave reviews for her in-ring work, but her bad attitude led to her departure. Cortez apparently thought she was a lot better than she was and was vocal about how she should be on the main roster and on television instead of being “stuck” training.
