– Regarding NXT call-ups for the upcoming WWE Draft on the first live Tuesday night edition of WWE SmackDown on July 19th in Worcester, Mass., it looks like Finn Balor and American Alpha will be headed up to the main WWE roster.

Former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley is expected to remain on the NXT roster at least through the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event during WWE SummerSlam weekend in August.

– While only two matches have been officially announced for the upcoming WWE Battleground pay-per-view on July 24th in Washington, D.C., the card is starting to take shape.

In addition to the officially announced WWE Championship match featuring Dean Ambrose defending his title against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, as well as the Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn match, it is also expected that The New Day will defend the WWE Tag-Team Championships against The Wyatt Family and John Cena will face AJ Styles in a stipulation match.

Other matches expected for Battleground include Rusev vs. Titus O’Neil for the WWE United States Championship and Becky Lynch vs. Natalya. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Championship will be happening soon, however whether it goes down at Battleground or is saved for SummerSlam remains to be seen.
