Owens vs. Rollins To Headline Clash Of Champions PPV On 9/25

Kevin Owens now has an opponent for his first official WWE Universal Championship defense on pay-per-view, as Seth Rollins was revealed as his challenger for the upcoming “Clash of Champions” show.

On Monday’s RAW, Commissioner Stephanie McMahon suspended Seth Rollins, only for RAW General Manager Mick Foley to overturn the suspension, as he decided that the conflict between Owens and Rollins should be settled in the ring.

As noted, SmackDown Live will have their first brand-exclusive pay-per-view, WWE Backlash, with Dean Ambrose defending the WWE Championship against AJ Styles in the main event. RAW now has their first brand-exclusive PPV main event, with Owens defending the WWE Universal Championship at the blue brand exclusive WWE Clash Of Champions PPV.

WWE Clash Of Champions takes place on Sunday, September 25th from Indianapolis, Indiana.
