News on the Wyatt Family’s Next Feud
As seen on Sunday’s TLC PPV, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton captured the SmackDown! tag team Championship by downing Heath Slater and Rhyno. As of writing, the current plan going forward is to have Slater and Rhyno announce their rematch to happen on an episode of SmackDown! Live as opposed to the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV in January. The possible reasoning behind this is that the WWE plan on pushing American Alpha as the next top contenders for the titles, as we saw them go over in the TLC pre-show 10-man tag match.
Sting Not Ruling Out One Final Match
During a recent appearance at the Unioto High School Gym in Chillicothe, Ohio, WWE Hall of Famer Sting was questioned about the possibility of returning to the ring for one more match. Although his WWE tenure was cut short due to a career ending injury at Night of Champions and having announced his retirement at this years WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, the Stinger didn’t rule out a return to the ring -“[at this point], I don’t know.”
It’s not the first time Sting has revealed his desire to return for one final big match, as he discussed on an episode of Legends with JBL, Sting strongly hinted at his hunger for the eagerly anticipated dream match against The Undertaker.
“That’s the unfinished business – I’ve always wanted to have that match [with The Undertaker], and I know that wrestling fans have always wanted to see it too.”
