After their triumphant return this past weekend at Wrestlemania and after their match against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows on Raw, the Hardys appeared on the WWE Network exclusive post-show, RAW Talk. Aside from Matt Hardy dropping a few references throughout their interview with Renee Young, the brothers appeared to be almost completely detached from their “Broken” characters. The Amway Center may have been filled with “Delete! Delete!” chants this past Monday night on Raw, but the two brothers barely did anything to encourage them, nor did they play up any other mannerisms of the characters.

On Raw Talk, Matt Hardy confirmed that the “Expedition of Gold” concluded with he and Jeff winning the Raw Tag Team Championships. When asked where the two of them had been, Matt stated,“We’ve been everywhere. Truly everywhere. One thing we were doing is we were on an expedition of gold. Where we were going to every federation or promotion that was worthwhile and win the tag team championship. And we did, we won every tag team championship that we went to a promotion and worked for. And to home back and win these, obviously the most prestigious championships there are just concluded our expedition of gold.”

It is possible that the characters could be implemented down the line, keep in mind that Anthem is still claiming ownership of the characters. For now though, it appears that the classic “Team Xtreme” personas of the Hardy Boyz are here to stay for a while.
