Get ready for one injured WWE Superstar to make his big return to action very soon. PWInsider has reported that former WWE Tag Team Champion Darren Young is nearly ready to come back from injury and he is expected to make his return to the ring in just a little bit. Darren Young was facing Epico Colon in a match taped for Main Event back in January of this year, and a nasty fall onto the apron caused Darren to suffer from a ghastly shoulder injury that has kept him out of action for most of the year. Hopefully the report is true and Young will be able to make his full return and get back in action much sooner rather than later.
Darren Young’s career has been a strange one thus far. Young has had moments throughout his run when the spotlight was shining down on him, only to ultimately just fall back down the card again. He has had some big moments during his time in the Nexus stable from several years ago, and he also found some success during his tag team run with Titus O’Neil as part of the Prime Time Players. Young managed to capture his first championship in WWE during his latest run with Titus. Now that Darren will be coming back to television in just a little bit, only one question remains: what will Darren Young be doing with his career next?
Prior to receiving the injury, Young was involved in a series of bizarre vignettes wherein he managed to recruit WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund as his life coach. Together, they promised to “Make Darren Young Great Again,” but the storyline was put on hold due to Young’s severe injury. PWInsider claims that Young should be good to go in about a month or so, he should also be on the cusp of receiving medical clearance from the company. No plans for Darren Young have been layed out thus far and he did not have much of a feud or program going on at the time of his injury, but here’s hoping that Young will return and go on to great success after returning from his brutal shoulder surgery.
