It was reported throughout the week that Paige would be returning to the ring on Monday’s Raw after being inactive for over a year. The Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer had previously stated that Bayley would not be joining the Raw women’s team at Survivor Series in favor of having Paige on the team. That was obviously changed since Bayley is now in the match and Paige never did return during last night’s show. Though they haven’t been able to confirm it yet, PWInsider has indicated that Paige’s choice to upload photos of herself backstage at the show with the talent may have convinced the company to change their plans and delay Paige’s return for now.
This crazy girl. @thefoxxyone ?? #Captain

Smackdown invaded Raw several weeks ago without any retribution from the red brand whatsoever. That is all expected to change during tonight’s edition of Smackdown. PWInsider claims that multiple roster members from Monday Night Raw are currently in Charlotte, North Carolina to take part in a Raw invasion angle. The report mentions that Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns will be leading the charge during the invasion. Stars such as Sheamus, Cesaro, and several other team members on the Raw men and women’s teams at Survivor Series are all rumored to be in town for the show. Be sure to see Raw get there revenge on Smackdown later tonight.
Goldberg wrestled his first match in over a decade back at the Survivor Series pay-per-view from last year. WWE recently released a WWE 24 documentary showcasing Goldberg’s return to the ring and subsequent Universal Championship run from about a year ago. The documentary has already been praised by fans and it seems to have done rather well on the network. Goldberg took the time to talk a bit about the documentary on his social media accounts recently. He hopes that his latest run with the company “all makes sense now.” The former WCW Champion has been thanking fans on Twitter for the positive response towards the documentary.
