Just recently, AXS TV promoted one of their upcoming episodes of Wrestle Kingdom 12 in Twitter featuring The Young Bucks taking on former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Roppongi 3k. Nick Jackson retweeted it by saying, “One helluva match. Can’t wait to hear UFC guy bury it on commentary!” It is said that Nick Jackson was referring to Josh Barnett who does color commentary, alongside Jim Ross. This stems back from the NJPW G1 Special last July when The Young Bucks felt that Barnett buried them on commentary, because the Young Bucks thought that he didn’t like their in-ring style. A fan then tagged Barnett and denied those accusations and explained how he and Ross called the match.

Both me and JR called it straight up (like we always do) and try to put over the workers as much as possible. We always try to express the heel/face dynamics and also make the matches seem as legitimate as we can so that the wrestlers look strong. My bad I guess. ??
