The Undertaker’s in-ring future has been in question for several months now. Although he appeared to retire from the ring after losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania last year, his retirement was never actually confirmed. Rumors of a possible in-ring return at this year’s WrestleMania have also carried on in recent weeks. His promo during the 25th anniversary of Raw show did not make his future in WWE any clearer. However, PWInsider has reported that The Undertaker and his wife Michelle McCool are in Philadelphia right now. It’s possible that they are both in town because McCool is rumored to enter the women’s Royal Rumble match as a surprise, but the men’s Royal Rumble match does still have a few spots open if her husband does decide to enter the match.
NXT Takeover: Philadelphia saw the debut of former Impact Wrestling sensation Ethan Carter III. His former onscreen partner Rockstar Spud has been rumored to be joining WWE’s cruiserweight division for several weeks now. Some have speculated that Spud could be announced as the new General Manager for 205 Live during this week’s show. However, Spud himself is currently teasing that he will be making his WWE debut in a completely different way. He took to Twitter recently to show an image of the Benjamin Franklin bridge. Obviously, the bridge is located in Philadelphia — the site of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view tonight. Is it possible that Rockstar Spud will debut during the show, or maybe even appear as an entrant in the titular match. We should be finding out later on tonight.
I appreciate this bridge. pic.twitter.com/ZncLkjmUGE

Jerry “The King” Lawler was once a common voice heard every single week on WWE television. Although he now longer announces for WWE every week, he has still made appearances for the company. Lawler typically is brought in to announce on special occasions nowadays, and he most recently appeared during the 25th anniversary of Raw show this past Monday night. For fans who love to hear Lawler during WWE events, they are lucky. Lawler recently confirmed on his Dinner with the King podcast that he has officially signed a new contract with the company. His new deal with WWE is the same as the one that he previously had. Lawler has re-signed with WWE for one year.
