Drew McIntyre in ICW HOF, Austin Apologizes to Pillman Jr., Swann

Drew McIntyre has already accomplished a lot ever since he was brought back to WWE last year. He quickly rose as a top star in the developmental brand, won the NXT Championship, and is now rumored for a promotion to the main roster upon returning from his current injury. Before returning to WWE in 2017, one promotion Drew helped put on the map was Insane Championship Wrestling in the UK. He was recently inducted into the promotion’s Hall of Fame. ICW has now finally gotten around to posting most of Drew’s speech from the event online for free. For those interested in seeing Drew McIntyre’s Hall of Fame acceptance speech, feel free to check out his induction posted down below:

One of the most legendary angles in the history of Monday Night Raw still has to be the infamous “Pillman’s Got a Gun” segment in which Brian Pillman attempted to fire a gun at Stone Cold Steve Austin as the latter attempted to invade his home. Several years later, the segment has prompted a humorous discussion between Austin and Pillman’s son. Upon reaching a Twitter milestone, Pillman’s son, Brian Pillman Jr. joked that he was attempting to raise enough money to replace the pool that was destroyed by Austin during the original segment. After seeing the tweet for himself, Austin the replied to the message and apologized to the late wrestler’s son by informing him that he was “just taking care of business.”

Lucky number 7 thousand followers!!
Thanks for the love fam.
In order to raise money to replace the kiddie pool that @steveaustinBSR belligerently destroyed when I was a kid, I will be releasing T shirts soon for pre-order!!

Rich Swann and WWE agreed to part ways with each other not even one week ago. Interestingly enough, the company has seemingly agreed to waive of the 90-day no-compete clause that most of their talents have to abide by after leaving the promotion. Swann has not wasted any time getting his name back in the thriving independent wrestling circuit. Swann has now been announced for an appearance at an upcoming event for The Crash: Lucha Libre. Only a few days ago, House of Hardcore founder Tommy Dreamer announced several shows that will feature Rich Swann on them. Not only will we be seeing Rich Swann in a ring again sooner than expected, but it looks like we may be seeing more of him than ever before.
