1986 – Giant Hillbilly Elmer (Stan Frazier) and Jerry Lawler defeated The MOD Squad (Basher and Spike) in Memphis, Tennessee to win the AWA Southern Tag Team Titles; Robert Fuller and Jimmy Golden defeated Steve Armstrong and Tommy Rich to win the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Title in Dothan, Alabama; Brad Armstrong won the NWA Southeast Continental Heavyweight Title from Jerry Stubbs in Birmingham, Alabama.
