Dean Ambrose was cited as the ‘iron man’ in WWE at one point since the former WWE Champion had never missed any shows or received any injuries during his time with the company. Unfortunately, Ambrose’s record was officially shattered late last year when he received a gruesome triceps injury during an episode of Raw. Ambrose’s injury kept him from competing at WrestleMania this year, and later reports stated that he was rehabbing his injury. According to a new update from PWInsider, Ambrose has “pretty much been living full-time in Birmingham, Alabama” lately, which means that he is constantly visiting the area for the latest medical updates on his injury. Hopefully, this is a sign that he is close to returning.
After leaving WWE, Brandi Rhodes decided to step into the ring and make a name for herself as a professional wrestler. Rhodes has been working for several different independent promotions over the past few months, but she revealed a few days ago that she received a devastating injury. Her husband Cody Rhodes later revealed that her clavicle injury requires her to undergo surgery in order to fix two separate fractures. Brandi provided an update on her injury on social media earlier today and told her fans that her surgery was successful. No word on when Brandi Rhodes is expected to be back in action, but she has said that Cody is back on the road now.
I’ve completed surgery successfully. Sent my husband back on the road, he won’t miss a show on acct of my injury. If you feel inclined to criticize matches I worked with a double fracture, seek help. We trust our bodies to others in ring. I’ve never hurt anyone, including myself. pic.twitter.com/P4NPEB9feh

With the upcoming United Kingdom Championship tournament and the second Mae Young Classic tournament set to air on the WWE Network later on this year, tons of fans are speculating which wrestlers will be involved with these shows. It appears that one young talent from the United Kingdom could be partaking in either one of these tournaments. According to a report from Squared Circle Sirens, Xia Brookside was backstage during last night’s NXT TV tapings in Full Sail University. Brookside is the daughter of Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside, so it is possible that she may have only been backstage to visit her father, but with the aforementioned tournaments coming up, perhaps this appearance could mean a bit more.
