Dolph Ziggler has just about done it all over the course of his long tenure with WWE. Ziggler is long removed from his days as a member of the Spirit Squad, and he is now a true veteran of the WWE locker room. Ziggler has won the World Tag Team Championships, United States Championship, Money in the Bank contract, and even the World Heavyweight Championship on two different occasions. He defeated Seth Rollins to become the new Intercontinental Champion very recently, which begun his 6th reign with the title. Despite the recent emphasis that has been put on Ziggler ever since he returned to Raw accompanied by Drew McIntyre earlier this year, there is still some speculation that he could be on his way out of WWE very soon.
As reported earlier, Dolph Ziggler has just been announced to appear at the upcoming Wales Comic Con expo alongside Cesaro and Sheamus as replacements for WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, who will be missing the event. PWInsider has just provided an interesting bit of information relating to the announcement that could indicate that Ziggler has signed a new contract with WWE. Since Ziggler’s contract reportedly expires this summer, and given that the convention won’t be taking place until December of this year, it is entirely possible that WWE and Dolph Ziggler have come to an agreement on a new contract or are at least very close to finalizing another deal for the current Intercontinental Champion.
Ronda Rousey has not been seen on Raw at all ever since she violently attacked Alexa Bliss, Kurt Angle, and several other officials after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Angle suspended Rousey for thirty days in storyline, but despite this, Rousey is still traveling on the road with the rest of the WWE crew and has appeared at a few live events over the course of her suspension. According to PWInsider, Rousey will be making her official televised return to WWE during the episode of Raw that takes place right after the Extreme Rules pay-per-view later in July. In the meantime, Rousey is still scheduled to compete and appear during all of the live events that she has been announced for.
