ROH/CM Punk Update, Reason Vince Isn’t on TV, Moose Concussed

CM Punk has chosen to stay away from wrestling ever since he retired from the ring in 2014. After his second MMA loss at UFC 225 earlier this year, fans were hopeful that the former WWE Champion would make his return to wrestling, but that still does not seem likely. It was recently reported that Ring of Honor is looking to bring Punk back for their upcoming Madison Square Garden event next year, but the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed that Punk is still telling his closest friends that he has no interest in returning to wrestling at the moment. Punk could always change his mind by the time that the show takes place in April, but the chances of that happening are also said to be “slim.”
Fans were surprised to see Vince McMahon appear on Monday Night Raw earlier this week alongside Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announce the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view for this October. Vince has only made a handful of onscreen appearances on WWE programming this year, and before his cameo on Raw from this past Monday, Vince had last been seen in backstage segments prior to the Universal Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Vince no longer appears on behalf of WWE due to his old age. It was even mentioned that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon filled in for him during their TV contract negotiation meetings earlier this year.
Impact Wrestling Superstar Moose had a great showing for himself during his recent match against Austin Aries for the promotion’s world title at Slammiversary. Although he did not win the championship, no one can deny that Moose had accomplished a lot during his time in Impact Wrestling. Unfortunately, Moose will have to miss some time from the ring due to a concussion. Impact announced earlier this week that Moose recieived the concussion during his match with Aries. Moose has already been pulled from his upcoming match against Jaxon Stone in Greensboro, North Carolina that he was scheduled to compete in this Sunday. No word on how long Moose is expected to be out for at the moment.

As first reported on our official @instagram, @TheMooseNation is not cleared to compete on Sunday at Confrontation live on @Twitch
