Sunday, April 3rd is the day of the last round of regular season in the Italian Serie A1. In Modena Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza won 3-1 over the hosts and thanks to this victory moved up to the 4th place. It’s a historical success for the team that is taking aim at qualification for a European Cup for the next season.
San Giustino has beaten Andreoli Latina 3-0 and from the 8th place will play in the Playoffs. They overtook Vibo Valentia with 1 point.
Despite 9 victories in this round, including the last one in Treviso (3-1), BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte will be relegated in A2. Treviso moved down to the 6th place.
Itas Diatec Trentino got through to BRE Banca Lannutti Cuneo and finished this round with 25 victories (1 defeat with Verona). That match was the last in the season for Simone Parodi who got injured.
