Gubernia Nizhny Novogorod conquered a demanding territory on the most interesting figth in Russian Superlague. The team, led by Nikolay Pavlov and Mikko Esko, overcame Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in three sets, but after thriling buttle in the first and second part. Gubernia eliminated an opponents leader Pavel Moroz and shread its wings called Pavlov, Nikic and Savin. In another game, Fakel Novy Urengoy was not able to catch up Zenit Kazan perhaps due to internal troubles. The coach, Ferdinando De Giorgi, could not rely on two reception stars Michal Winiarski and Alexey Spiridonov suffering from more ore less serious injiries. Zenit closed that match in four sets.
